The U.N. General Assembly , 142-10, last week to support a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict and urge Israel to commit to a Palestinian state, a move Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vehemently opposed. The U.S. voted against the nonbinding resolution.
