Robert Wickens of Guelph, Ont., was partially paralyzed in a catastrophic accident while driving in an IndyCar race in 2018 but he has been steadily climbing the tiers of motorsport since then. He’ll be driving in the headline race of the Chevrolet Grand Prix at ´ºÉ«Ö±²¥ Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ont., this weekend, the highest level of competition he’s raced in Canada since his accident.(July 10, 2025).
