TORONTO - Canada Goose Holdings Inc. reported its fourth-quarter profit and revenue rose compared with a year ago.
The luxury parka maker says it earned $27.1 million in net income attributable to shareholders or 28 cents per diluted share for the quarter ended March 30, up from a profit of $5.0 million or five cents per share in the same period a year earlier.
On an adjusted basis, Canada Goose says it earned 33 cents per diluted share in its latest quarter, up from an adjusted profit of 19 cents per diluted share a year earlier.
Revenue for the quarter totalled $384.6 million, up from $358.0 million a year ago.
Direct-to-consumer revenue totalled $314.1 million, up from $271.5 million a year ago, while wholesale revenue amounted to $31.8 million compared with $41.4 million in the same quarter last year.
Other revenue for the quarter totalled $38.7 million, down from $45.1 million a year ago.
