The Toronto suburb of Newmarket, Ont., feels a little like Oil Country these days with favourite son Connor McDavid back in the Stanley Cup final. McDavid grew up in the town of 90,000 and local supporters are hoping his Oilers beat the Florida Panthers for the NHL championship. (June 10, 2025)
