NEW YORK (AP) 鈥 Hilary Swank has given birth to twins 鈥 a boy and a girl.
The 48-year-old 鈥淢illion Dollar Baby鈥 actor of her and her twins looking at the sunset on Instagram Sunday evening with the caption: 鈥淚t wasn't easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it.鈥
She added on Instagram that she's "posting from pure heaven.鈥 She and entrepreneur Philip Schneider have been married since 2018.
Over the course of her pregnancy, Swank had been filming her new ABC show 鈥淎laska Daily." She shared in an that when her pants didn't fit during filming, she cut them open and put a jacket on to hide her bump.
鈥淵ou don鈥檛 tell for 12 weeks for a certain reason. But then, like, you鈥檙e growing and you鈥檙e using the bathroom a lot and you鈥檙e eating a lot. I鈥檓 sure there鈥檚 been conversations, and when I get back to the set, people will be like, 鈥極h, it all makes sense now,鈥 the two-time Oscar winner said.
At January's Golden Globes, Swank joked on the red carpet that she had 鈥渢hree months to go and I walked into a store the other day and this woman goes, 鈥楬oney, you better start jumping up and down to get that baby out.鈥 And this other woman like she鈥檚 like, 鈥極h, my God, three more months.鈥"
Ahead of the birth, She lightheartedly shared with her Instagram followers that she was contemplating putting Salt-N-Pepa's 鈥淧ush It鈥 on her delivery playlist.
